5 out of 5 stars Wonderful mirror!   August 26, 2010

I was really impressed with this product. Having read some of the other "iffy" reviews, I wasn't expecting much. In reality, the mirror is large enough to see not only the baby's face, but also the surroundings. It mounted very nicely to the side of our Pathfinder headrest, and the tilt mechanism allows for easy angle view. (Note: You do need a headrest that can lift up so that you can attach the mirror with straps. If yours is a one-piece construction with the seat back, you won't be able to attach the mirror. I am out of luck with our other car... Otherwise, I would have absolutely bought the second mirror.)

3 out of 5 stars Love it then it broke   August 18, 2010

I loved this back seat mirror! Since I don't have a center headrest it was perfect because it rotated. I adjusted the strap to make it tighter and it ripped to shreds! So disappointed! It was practically brand new too! Great product but needs a stronger strap!

1 out of 5 stars Not compatible with all headrests!   July 30, 2010

Safety issues aside, the "easy view back seat mirror" does not live up to its claims of being easy to view:
"It attaches securely to the middle of any head rest." False. It really only attaches to adjustable headrests like the one in the photo on the packaging. I had this problem in the first car I installed my son's car seat in, so I moved the car seat and mirror to another car.
"Pivots on a ball and socket for the perfect angle to view an infant, without moving your rear view mirror." False. While it does pivot as mentioned, depending on what car you drive, you may not be able to see the mirror nor the reflection in your rear view mirror regardless of how you position the "easy view." This is the case with the second car I installed the car seat and mirror in; we have no other cars we can use this with.
But it's still not completely useless! Even though this doesn't work for the intended purpose, my little one can stare at his own reflection which he enjoys. Now I just have to weigh that against the safety risks that other reviewers have discussed at length. . .

1 out of 5 stars Mirror moves too much!   July 11, 2010

It's shocking to me that the sole purpose of this item - to simply stay at a certain angle so you can view your child - it fails at. Within days of installing this mirror it kept moving and shifting. Attempts at putting it back into position worked for about 5 minutes and the mirror would simply fall down from it's angle. Very frustrating - I ended up throwing it away.

4 out of 5 stars A vision of comfort   June 28, 2010

We now have 2 of these mirrors and they make driving so much easier. They allow us to see our child in the rear facing position and not have to worry about what they are doing. We looked all over for this mirror and finally found it. We tried others but none compared to this mirror.
