great booster seat September 5, 2010 molly Great booster. My 5 year old is very comfortable in it thanks to the seatbelt adjuster. I love that it has sturdy side head rests in case he falls asleep. Love that there are two cup holders. I will buy the same one again when my daughter is big enough.
Granddaughter loves this seat. September 2, 2010 cguillau (LIVERPOOL, NY United States) Pros:
Granddaughter claims it is very comfortable
Fold up arm rests for easy in and out.
Adjustable head rest height.
Easy to take in and out of car.
Head doesn't fall forward when taking a nap.
Purchased at Walmart for $63.00 with free ship to store delivery.
Cons:
Seat belt rubs against her neck so I purchased a lambs wool shoulder belt cover. Problem solved.
Doesn't tether. If child is out of seat, you should latch the seat belt in order to keep the unit stable when not in use.
Cup holders are a little small for some of her sippy cups.
After I purchased this B540 booster seat I found out that "The First Years" came out with a new model the B570
that does tether and has better features than the model B540 for about $100.00.
Booster seat August 31, 2010 Concern buyer I purchase this booster seat for my 3 year old daughter. She doesn't like the way the seatbelt fits across her neck, as she get taller should'nt be a problem. When she sleeping she doesn't look comfortable.
We love this booster seat! August 10, 2010 Alice Bergmann (Jackson, NJ, US) I researched NHTSA's site and found these car seats that got top ratings. I bought two (direct from The First Years for about $60) months ago. They are very soft and comfortable. The seat belt guide is secure (unlike our Eddie Bauer seat where it keeps coming out) and at a good position . The arms conveniently swing up for seat belt ease (also unlike the Eddie Bauer). The wings at the head give more support and protection. There are swing out cupholders on both sides. There is nothing we don't like, they are terrific!
Looks like a King! July 18, 2010 K. Werden (Willoughby Hills, OH) Very nicely made. My son loves it. He looks like a King on his thrown. He is able to buckle himself into the seat. Plus, he can sleep comfortably in it because of the sides.
