very bubbly August 31, 2010 Lisa (Portland, OR) I got these to stop the sun from beating down on my kids in my car. They cling great, you can cut to size, they are pretty good sized. The bubbling is terrible though. Not too noticeable from the inside, but from the outside it looks bad. But it does what it's supposed to do, I went out into the sun yesterday with these on the two side windows and a part of the back window and it kept the sun from baking my kids. Much better than a blanket in the window because I could still see out of the windows with these on.
Great shade for its cost August 26, 2010 Sandoval This was a very inexpensive shade. It took a some time to install but I have had no problems with it.
Be aware that you should not open the windows once the shade is installed because it may be damaged and for sure will come off. I don't complain about this fact because of the price. If you want something that allows you to open the windows then take your car to a tint shop.
Good buy August 11, 2010 Kylie (TOPEKA, KS, US) I bought this when my son turned forward facing and we moved him from the middle to the passenger side of the car. We have an suv with large windows and it really seems to block out the sun. Our car has dark tinted windows, but it didn't block the sun like we thought. We found the best way to install it was to spray the window with a lot of windex, put the shade up and the spray a little more windex on the shade. You can then use a credit card to smooth out all the bubble and it stays up really well. It is a good buy and we somehow didn't have to pay shipping which made it even better!
Easy solution August 3, 2010 RJS These sunshades are easy to put on the window, and stay put for a long time. They don't look totally smooth, though - you can tell that they're static-cling (small bubbles between the glass and the shade are impossible to remove). My daughter happens to enjoy peeling the shade off the window, but that isn't really the product's fault. Overall, I'm very pleased with the product.
It's aiight... July 17, 2010 Keren Jackson (San Marcos, TX) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Well, it keeps the sun out, but it looks awful. My husband won't let me leave it on our new car because he thinks it looks ghetto. It is impossible to put it on the window without it bubbling, and it clings really well to itself, so it's a little difficult to hold it while trying to attach it to the window. My husband took it off and tried to reattach it, but it fell off the window while he was driving later. We haven't bothered putting it back up. We want a pull-down shade if such a thing exists, and we're will to pay a little more for something that works, looks good, and is durable.
